Prof. Jin is an ARC Future Fellow, in biophotonics, nanotechnology and medical biotechnology. He was chief investigator and Science Theme leader for the ARC Centre of Excellence for Nanoscale Biophotonics. Currently Prof. Jin is a Director for the ARC Research Hub for Integrated Device for End-user Analysis at Low-levels (IDEAL Hub), 2016-2021 and Director, Institute for Biomedical Materials and Devices (IBMD), School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Faculty of Science, University of Technology, Sydney. He also holds an adjunct Professor position within the Advanced Cytometry Labs, Macquarie University.
